Dry ice pelletizers are needed to produce dry ice, and dry ice pelletizers have various specifications. The specifications of dry ice pelletizers are usually determined by their hourly production capacity. For example, our TCM25-A dry ice pelletizer has an hourly production capacity of 30KG dry ice, and the TCM60-A dry ice pelletizer has an hourly production capacity of 60KG dry ice. Of course, these are small dry ice pelletizers. Medium or large dry ice pelletizers can produce hundreds of kilograms of dry ice per hour, or even more.

The raw material for producing dry ice is liquid CO2. Liquid CO2 evaporates rapidly under reduced pressure through a dry ice pelletizer, and part of the carbon dioxide gas is quickly converted into a solid state to form dry ice snow (similar to ice and snow particles). Dry ice snow is pressed into dry ice of different shapes (block dry ice, granular dry ice, columnar dry ice, etc.) by a dry ice pelletizer.
Because liquid CO2 will not be completely converted into dry ice when it evaporates rapidly under reduced pressure, the dry ice conversion rate has become an important indicator for measuring the quality of dry ice pelletizers. The dry ice conversion rate of our dry ice pelletizer can be as high as 40-45%, which has reached the leading level in the industry.
